Savory balls with Maruzzella Tuna
(Serves 4-6, 40′ minutes, medium difficulty)
Ingredients:
- 150 g Maruzzella Tuna in olive oil
- 150 g pitted green olives
- 2 eggs
- 250 g flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 100 ml water
- 25 g sunflower oil
- 1/2 sachet of quick-action yeast
How to prepare:
Maruzzella tuna balls are an easy recipe to prepare, full of flavor and ideal for those who want to amaze their guests with a savory dough-ball.
First, blend the Maruzzella Tuna with the pitted green olives, until you get a cream.
Now make the dough. Add the eggs, half a teaspoon of salt, half a sachet of yeast, water and sunflower oil to a bowl. Whisk and gradually add the flour. Add the tuna and olive cream to the mixture and continue to mix well.
Now take a saucepan, fill it with sunflower oil and bring to boiling point. Use a spoon to make small balls of the dough, drop them into the oil, just a few at a time, let them fry until they are golden. Then remove and drain.
Eat them hot to enjoy the tuna balls at their best.
