Mozzarella cheese balls filled with Maruzzella “Bocconcino”

(Serves 4, 25′ minutes, easy)


  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 250 g “Bocconcino” Maruzzella
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 hard boiled eggs
  • Basil
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt

How to prepare:

The Mozzarella cheese balls filled with Maruzzella “Bocconcino” are an ideal recipe for preparing a tasty summer lunch that will captivate your guests.

First prepare the hard-boiled eggs, let them cool and remove the shells.

Dice the tomatoes and put them in a bowl, add the drained pieces of “Bocconcino” Tuna Maruzzella, thinly sliced egg, salt and fresh basil.

Once you have made the mixture, move on to the preparation of the mozzarella: cut them lengthwise trying not to totally separate the two halves and scoop out the internal part to create a small pocket for the filling.

Now fill the mozzarella and season with extra virgin olive oil.
